Chimayo Hot chili powder has light heat and a bright citrus aftertaste. It's red color is a perfect addition to chili, chili con carne, salsa and posole. If you want a little heat and a lot of depth, Chimayo's rich flavor will be a key ingredient in any recipe. Chimayo is finely ground and will go well with other ground chili peppers and does great combined with chili powder blends such as San Antonio Original, San Antonio Red and Red Lion Competition Blend.
